My young step son bought a magazine today titled 'All About History'.

The double page spread on pages 6-7 is a color photograph of a newspaper and magazine vendor in New York on 23rd Street, east of Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. It was taken in December 1902.

Isn't that a large print of the last stand of the 17th Lancers at Modderfontein in the middle of the stand!!??

Best wishes to all,

Justin

Gentlemen,
I really don't think it was quite like the painting would have people think, "for gods sake, stop it, we surrender" springs to mind here! :(
