Here's a picture of an officially renamed QSA.

An example of a QSA where the initial and name has been replaced.

The medal is named to 4065 PTE J. MANN 1st DGN. GDS.

On the roll, Private John Morgan has this number.

An example that appeared on eBay today. It is identified by the seller as such.

Another renamed QSA from today's eBay postings. QSA (1) RoL. The seller identifies the naming issue with the question 'NAMED IN AN UNUSUAL STYLE, PRIVATELY?' I would think so!



Bailey's original medal was issued with 4 clasps; Tr, TH, RoL and LN. He also served 1st Scottish Horse.

Certainly not official naming!
