I just sold a single QSA I have had for a while but don't remember there being anything special about, to 1230 T O'Dell Imperial Light Horse, with the TVL and OFS clasps. It sold almost on listing, then I had another query a few hours later, so I am wondering if I am about to post off something I wish I never sold. Too late now

He was in the ILH as 1230 and 1040 and I think may be the T O'Dell in Rimington's Guides. However I am not sure if that meant he was an original member or was part of the re-created Damants Horse, which was far larger.

Did I miss anything?

Yes and No - as you know I PM'd you this morning wanting to purchase the medal but you had already moved it on....

Thomas O'Dell served in Damant's Horse, Johannesburg Mounted Rifles, 1st Imperial Light Horse (Twice) and the Duke of Edinburgh's Own Volunteer Rifles. He also earned a KSA off the Damant's Roll.

Nothing particularly special about him but, with that range of units in which he served, something I would have liked to add to my collection.

I think I got it from a Kaplan auction a long time ago, probably about 10 years.
