Just picked up a couple of interesting pieces, on for myself and one for a friend that collects railway items (if he wants it LOL).......

QSAMike: Say, I have an 1882 EGYPT. TEl-El-Kebir to an ABDUL LATIF, Possibly same man or just the same name since it would be common. You might pass that on to your friend for info. But if he passes, let me know.

Nice one Mike

Probably Charles Henry Hilditch a Cyanide Plant Manager on the Gold Mines in Johannesburg in 1899.

With access to that kind of poison he would have had plenty of friends..... :cheer:

He died in the Transvaal in 1933 and there are a few archival references to him before that.
