Congratulations on getting the QSA. Great reward for perseverance. I hope you also get the LSGC medal to complete the set. Even without it you have the material for a great display with his photo, medals, badge, and whistle and chain. The badge appears to be in hallmarked silver and although I can't tell what size it is, I think it will be the plate from the crossbelt set, which includes the whistle and chain-see your photo of Sgt Hogan. Are these also hallmarked? If they are, and carry the same marks, you have a very nice set indeed!

Hi Patrick

The whistle and chain are also hallmarked. The badge is about 4 inches tall and having looked at the photo again, it is the cross plate from the chest belt.
