Hello Adrian,
He certainly served with the 47th Company after serving with the 38th Company and is on both their KSA roll as well as the 38th KSA roll, his medal being issued on the 8th of July 1903.

Many thanks chaps. I somehow though you might conjur up a photo Adrian :) Barrington did serve for a short while at the end with the 47th Coy. as Frank has pointed out.

Frank - I'll try the RE Museum for a photo.

I noticed that the dates of death on the memorial are post-war, which proves that diseases such as enteric continued in peacetime, when insanitary conditions were less excusable.
