There is a reference, which I can't find right now, of about 70 people gathering during the Jameson Raid in anticipation of the invasion. This wasn't the reform committee, it was people who actually did get together to support the invasion.

Is there a list of who they were, did they just disperse or did the authorities get them?

Cheers

Ryan,
Are you thinking of the people involved in Johannesburg? The authourities there issued a list of those SUSPECTED of involvement, following the raid. It was generally believed the list was also an opportunity to settle scores too...
Some - the 'ringleaders' - were arrested.
I have the details on a very well hidden pdf file! I shall go digging...

Thanks for the replies. I am now looking for where I saw it mentioned and can't find it!

This wasn't the Reform Committee, who are listed in The Transvaal Within as being arreseted. This was meant to be sime people who gathered to take part in an uprising that never occured.

But I need to find the book it is in first!

Cheers
