Hi Meurig

Congratulations!!

Medals to men who served in 4 campaigns are rather hard to come by.

Thanks chaps, nothing like medal therapy.

Mike - I'll keep searching perhaps it is in Black & White Budget?

Here is my favourite multi-campaign group (that I own):

Patrick Ruane: RE and Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers Militia, Zulu, Sekukuni, First Boer, Suakin 1885 and Second Boer War.

A big gap that I need to fill in 2015 is QSA and West Africa (not Ashanti 95) combinations.

Now that is very nice indeed, the 1879 in particular, which covers both campaigns and I think, it does, in effect, represent the Transvaal War too, really super group, I've often felt the Royal Engineers really are the men who "do and think" on the battlefield and I suppose that has always been the case, it cannot be a coincidence that Kitchener chose the RE, it certainly laid the foundations for his future.
One of the nicest groups I've seen for a long time, but, to be quite honest, I do actually prefer William Blaing!
