You are correct, Frank. The German boot was smaller than the British one, but, as the Herero's can attest, it had a much harder stamp.

Your timing with this is quite also extraordinary as Brett mentioned a similar event to me only the other day, he also tells me that Gourton was a hamlet on the Upper Tugela.
