I recently acquired this group to Pte W H Reynolds Cape Police D2 which came with the badges shown

I cannot identify the badge bottom right

It resembles the Boer War slouch hat badge Owen 1844 in shape but I presume that was brass

whereas this is silver. Could it be a sweetheart brooch?

Congratulations! A great medal group made far better by the badges that came with it. Thank you for showing them.

It is a Cape Police slouch hat badge, almost certainly made in King Williams Town and not a sweetheart brooch.
