Hi my name is Sheila and I am trying to get information about my Gt Uncle Henry Swindall who served in the St John Abulance Brigade and died in Graaf Reneit in May 1901. I see from your page on St Johns A.B. that he is listed but I dont know if you have any other info available. He is buried in the Wesleyan Cemetery in Graaf Reneit and we visited an unmarked grave there in 2009, which we were told by someone, who had contacted Grahamstown University on our behalf, that this was his final resting place. I have no other information other than the death certificate (signed by Dr.W.E. de Korte) and a Programme from RMS Tantallon Castle, which left Southampton for Cape Town in February 1901. If anyone can help me I will be grateful. Thank You.
