I acquired yesterday a group about which all will be revealed in the fullness of time - but for the benefit of collectors I am posting a series of photos of the comprehensive siege anniversary papers that came with it. The group comprises a QSA to 600 Pte. E. Reynolds, Durban Light Infantry and Kitchener's Fighting Scouts (1st and 2nd) with the clasps Relief of Ladysmith, Cape Colony, Transvaal and Orange Free State along with his British War Medal and Victory Medal to Pte. E.A. Reynolds, 2nd S.A.I.

Someone may well have medals to some of the organising committee? I had the LTG QSA to F Davenport but it is now in the hands of a friend in Vryheid. What is also of interest is the programme signed by a few chaps who were in the Siege and who have added their regiments to their names.

Regards

Rory

I love it when the papers survive they are normally the first thing thrown away.......

Among the papers supplied (above) came this photograph. Again someone may have medals to some of these chaps? My man, Reynolds, id featured at top right of the photo. I attach also the comments made in the paper.
