Anyone got information on the formation of the 99th Company Imperial Yeomanry ? Some sites say they were Irish, others Scottish.

IrishHorse,

They are listed on this site as being Irish. I also checked a 1902 Army List which confirmed the same:

8th Battalion:

23rd (Lancashire) Company.
24th (Westmoreland and Cumberland) Company.
74th (Dublin) Company.
77th & 105th (Manchester) Company.
99th (Irish) Company.

Best wishes
David
