Interested in anything on the 1st Scots Guards who sailed on the Nubia leaving UK on 20/10/1899 and the Battle of Belmont.
Great-uncle Robert George Perkins enlisted in England and was killed at the Battle of Belmont 23/11/1899. He was born in Launceston Tasmania Australia 25/12/1876 and it was known that he was an artist. He sailed to England with a friend supposedly for a holiday and joined the 1st Scots Guards.
