RATTRAY, P M, Captain, served in
South Africa with the 1st Scottish Horse, 1899-1902. He was mentioned in
Despatches, and was created a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order
[London Gazette, 31 October 1902]: "P M Rattray, Captain, 1st Scottish
Horse. In recognition of services during the operations in South Africa".
